About Us

  • Willem Philippi, a devoted Christian minister for over 47 years, serves alongside his wife, Jesulia. Together, they’ve raised six children, all active in church. With a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies, Willem combines his 25 years of teaching in Broward County schools with his current role as a Religion and Philosophy professor at Broward College. At First Haitian Baptist Church of North Lauderdale, he leads with a mission to spread God's Word globally.

  • FHBCNL is a welcoming space where biblical teaching, heartfelt worship, and community outreach come together. Our Media Ministry ensures that services are accessible to all, with programs in Haitian Creole and English. Join us for worship, growth, and fellowship on Sundays at 11:00 AM and throughout the week. All are welcome!

Our church is blessed with five pastors, reflecting our Senior Pastor's belief in unity through shared leadership. He believes that having multiple pastors not only strengthens our community but also helps spread the Gospel more effectively. He also encourages the idea that anyone can become a leader, fostering growth and service within the church.
